Archaeologists in Germany Discover 'Shining' 3,000-Year-Old Sword
NÖRDLINGEN - In Nördlingen, Bavaria, archaeologists have made a remarkable discovery: a sword that appeared to be shining. The weapon dates back to the Bronze Age and is over 3,000 years old. According to the archaeologists, the sword is in "remarkably good condition."
The sword, from the 14th century BC, was found in a grave. The grave contained the remains of a man, a woman, and a boy, along with other bronze objects. The blade was firmly attached to the hilt, which the archaeologists find remarkable. The Bronze Age lasted from around 2200 to 800 BC.
