Royal fans camp out ahead of King Charles' coronation
Dedicated fans of the British royal family have already set up camp outside Buckingham Palace for the coronation of King Charles on May 6th. Several people have pitched their tents and set up their chairs along The Mall, the road that leads to Buckingham Palace. Among the superfans are Sky London and Carol Foster, who have camped out for previous royal events such as the funeral of Queen Elizabeth and the births of Prince William and Catherine's three children. London stated that they plan to hold onto their spot and not let anyone else take it. Foster said she is especially excited to see what Catherine and Camilla will wear.
King Charles and Queen Consort Camilla will travel in the Diamond Jubilee State Coach, the carriage made to mark Queen Elizabeth's sixty years on the throne in 2012. They will travel along The Mall and Parliament Square to Westminster Abbey, where the coronation ceremony will begin at 11 am local time.
