Teenagers steal car in Chicago and cause collision: baby killed
Two teenagers in Chicago stole a Hyundai car and collided with another car carrying a 6-month-old baby, causing the infant's death. The two underage car thieves are likely to face relatively light charges.
A 34-year-old mother and her two daughters, aged 7 and 15, were also injured in the crash. The victims' family set up a fundraising page for the baby's funeral, which has so far raised around $40,000. According to The New York Post, the state of Illinois is facing significant criminal problems among minors, such as theft and fencing.
